Pixel 8 display
120Hz
The Pixel 8 ships a 6.2-inch panel at 1080×2400 — 424 pixels per inch, refreshing at up to 120Hz. Like most modern phones, it renders the interface at a scaled-down logical resolution, so websites see a much smaller viewport than the panel's native pixel count — that's the device pixel ratio at work.
The Pixel 8's 6.2-inch Actua OLED was Google's first base model with a 120Hz ceiling (adaptive from 60Hz) and, at 2,000 nits peak, doubled the outdoor brightness of the Pixel 7 it replaced.
