The iPhone 14 Pro Max ships a 6.7-inch panel at 1290×2796 — 460 pixels per inch, refreshing at up to 120Hz with ProMotion. Like most modern phones, it renders the interface at a scaled-down logical resolution, so websites see a much smaller viewport than the panel's native pixel count — that's the device pixel ratio at work.

The display that introduced the Dynamic Island and the first always-on mode on an iPhone: a 6.7-inch LTPO OLED scaling from 1 to 120Hz, with 2,000 nits peak outdoor brightness — double its predecessor.
