iPhone 12 Pro Max display
The iPhone 12 Pro Max ships a 6.7-inch panel at 1284×2778 — 457 pixels per inch. Like most modern phones, it renders the interface at a scaled-down logical resolution, so websites see a much smaller viewport than the panel's native pixel count — that's the device pixel ratio at work.
The largest iPhone display of its generation: a 6.7-inch Super Retina XDR OLED at 458 PPI. Like the whole iPhone 12 line, it refreshes at 60Hz — ProMotion arrived a year later on the 13 Pro.
