The iPad (A16) ships a 10.9-inch panel at 2360×1640 — 264 pixels per inch. iPadOS draws everything at 2× scaling on a logical canvas of 1180×820points, so websites see a viewport far smaller than the panel's native pixel count — and it flips with the tablet's orientation.

The entry-level iPad's 11-inch Liquid Retina panel shares its 2360×1640 resolution with the iPad Air, but is non-laminated, covers sRGB rather than wide color, and stays at 60Hz — the trade-offs that make it the most affordable full-size iPad.
